Can someone tell me what the manufacture date is for a Winchester MOD 12-12 pump shotgun serial number 409946?

Probably 1925

Any idea of the value range - the gun is good condition, blueing is very good shape with no rust, the stock appears to be in orginal condition with some old minor nicks and stratches

Mostly it will depend on condition and grade. If it is simply a field grade they can go from a low of a couple hundred on up, condition is everything. If it is one of several higher grades, engraving, wood, inlays in metal or wood; then it is what ever someone wants to pay. The "12" is a good gun in any chambering, but there were a lot of them built and only fine condition commands fine money.
