By the late 60s pump guns had almost completely fallen out of favor as skeet guns. That might explain a lot of the lack of use. I would have choke tubes fitted to increase the versatility. Should be a good gun for anything you want to use it for.
Michael, I can just about understand why it wasn't shot, that shotgun is so gorgeous, but I won't own a gun I wouldn't shoot. Too bad ya got rid of it.
I wish it would have been shot a few times. The gun was owned by a man here in Virginia, who kept it in storage until the day he died. There wasn't a mark on the gun. I cocked it a few times, but every time you worked the action it took $5 bucks off the value. Selling it was very difficult. But clearing a grand off the sale was fine!
