Does anyone have a link to the manual for this little beauty or detailed cleaning directions? It's my dad's old .22 and we used it to test some targets we made over Christmas. It hasn't been out of his gun safe in I am guessing 10 years if not more and is looking a little rough. It shot ok, but the action is gritty and I don't think he has done more than swab out the barrel since he bought it in the late 60's.

I brought it home with me to clean it up properly. It looks like I can get out the trigger assembly by punching out a pin, but some guns you have to be careful about whether the gun is cocked, not cocked, safety on or off, and etc so I thought I would ask first.

Thanks!

I bet someone on RFC will answer you soon with good information.

When it comes to rimfires, those guys really know their stuff.

Edit.. no it isn't, a 190 is a semi auto but the picture looks exactly the same.. still stuck

Thanks SSshooter, I posted over there and at the firing line as well, somebody will bail me out in one of these 3 locations I am sure :)

I have the 275. It's just the 22 mag version. You're right on the pin. Just tap it out and the trigger group drops out. You can then see how the slide rail hooks on the bolt. Pretty easy. I don't know about yours, but if you don't jack that slide firmly, it jams pretty quickly. And the trigger on mine is rough also. Long and crunchy. Wish I could find someone that could touch that trigger up. Otherwise, it's a great gun.

thanks tk, I'll try that tonight. On Dad's 270 I do not believe it has ever jammed or misfeed, but it is so gritty right now you have to really put some pressure on it to get it to cycle. It takes more effort to pump than any shotgun I've used.
