Great news and I need your help!

The fiancée's son was given an old Winchester Model 61 Slide Action (pump) 22 for Christmas!
His father's father passed away earlier this year and had wanted his only grandson to have it. I believe is the basic .22lr version, and was made in the 50s.

It is in ridiculously good shape. I can hardly tell that been fired, which is a testament to the Grandfathers care, because the father tells us that he learned to shoot with it and remembers shooting it allot.

I would love to take the boy shooting with it, but am concerned about keeping it in the same shape it was given to him in, and unfortunately it did not come with the manual for take down and assembly.

Anyone have any suggestions about where I could find the manual online? Ive seen some of 40-50 dollars but Id rather not pay anything if at all possible.

Thanks in advance for any and all assitance you guys can give!

alright ive gone an ordered one, they look like the next best thing to an original.

Was hoping to take him out this weekend though. I might just see what I can do about getting it apart me self. Anyone know that model well enough to advise me? like maybe "wait till you get the book" or "just watch out for xyz and youll be fine"?
