Winchester Model 1906

I have always wanted a Winchester Pump 22, today my dreams came true. After a day of shooting with my father, he gave me one from his collection. It's a model 1906 Serial #3708XX. Wondering if you could give me some info/history on the gun. I will need to replace the butt stock, it's also missing the elevator to the rear sight.

I would put that '06 in the safe and buy a Rossi/Taurus M62 to shoot.
