All the gun rags had announced that several takedown versions of the Winchester Model 94 were being introduced for 2006 (short hunter takedown, timber scout takedown, etc.) Did they produce these in any quantity before shutting down the line? Has anybody seen one?
They sound interesting, but if they're so rare (or nonexistent) as to be nearly as expensive as a custom takedown rifle, that kind of defeats the purpose.
