Winchester Super X2 Magazine

Hello

I posted this question awhile back but didn't get a response, so I'm trying again.

I have the Super X2 Practical MKI and would like to have the ability to swap out the high capacity magazine for the lower capacity standard X2 magazine for hunting. Does anyone know if this is possible? The Winchester parts department took a "we can't recommend an unapproved configuration" stance, but it seems that parts should be interchangable. Any suggestions?

you can buy the extended mag tubes for the non tactical versions, so I don't see why it wouldn't work the other way.
