I was planning on just doing a Duracoat jobby on the orange stock.

I've got pink overspray spec on my slick plastic watch band from July. I cannot even SCRATCH it off. It took a week or two to get all the specs off the 2 week old glass face. Good paint for anything if you ask me. :)

Does anybody think CDNN can rummage through and find an even older model? I know, I know, I should call and ask....

Oh dear. How much did this run? I have no need for another 870. I have no need for another 870. I have no need for another 870...

I'll just keep repeating that until the itch goes away.

Hee-hee. A bit under two bills will fetch you one. They aren't like new, but they've got tons of personality.

Happy: glad to hear from someone else who bought one from CDNN. Hope you like it.

I love it.
This was really good timing.

I was looking for an 870 to use in competitions, but I didn't want to buy another Express HD model. (I have one, but it has a Surefire fore-end that I don't want to take off once a month.)
So, now I have a Wingmaster instead. :)

I had almost purchased a 870 tactical, but I really wanted something cheaper and that I didn't mind beating up.

nevermind. didn't read the posts on the second page.

My Wingmaster's action is slicker than goose poop; it won't win any beauty contests but people at the range have mistaken it for a semi-auto. :D Enjoy yours.

Is it a standard 4+1 capacity tube? I didn't get in on these in time, but I'll be pouncing on the next batch (if there is one... please, God).

Yeah, they're the short tube. Plenty of old-school firepower, though. As for the next batch, I don't think you'll have to wait too long. Pretty much every agency in the country has Remington shotguns.

If you really want one, keep their 800 number handy and call every week or so. They buy up small batches of used LEA shotguns every so often, lots of times too few to even list in the catalog. You just have to be patient.
