WinRanger LEO only?

Everything I see on the web when I google says that WinRanger is LEO only. Is this true, or is it just more of a hush-hush thing at the moment?

I think you can buy the Ranger loads at ProLoad.

Other than being LEO Only. I'm a bit leary of using anything
called "talon" such as the Ranger Talon.

Any fan of CSI Miami will know that they often recover bullets.
"Death Talon" and "Golden Talon"..more media hype over the infamous
Black Talon.

The Speer 124 gr.+P is just as good as the Winchester Ranger 127 gr +P+
but is not restricted.

I had a stockpile of ranger 127+p+ that recently got rid of. Good stuff. If you want, there are several sources for us citizens to buy from.

My local gun shop sells LEO only ammo to anyone(or me at least),I didn't buy for a while because of the warning on the box.The guy behaind the counter said to buy some....then again maybe I look like cop,short hair,overweight,donut in hand
The one's I use are Federal 38+p+ jhp.I like them alot and use them for CCW..

Unless there is a specific state law that says otherwise, it is perfectly legal to buy, own & use "LEO-only" marked ammunition. The COMPANY is restricting who they sell the ammo to, not the government. You can find lots of online sources for buying the stuff, such as Gunbroker.com.
