just got this email back from Rep. Scott Gunderson's office. Thought I'd post it for those of you FAR AWAY that want to come down....
I'm upset as I had planned on being there.....but they prob know more than we do!!!

I also wanted to let you know that the Assembly will no longer be in session on Thursday, January 29, 2004. It is the intention of the Speaker of the Assembly to take up the veto override of SB 214, Wisconsin’s Personal Protection Act, on Tuesday, February 3, 2004.
I know there will be frustration that we are not acting on SB 214 on Thursday, but this is an extremely important issue, so it is imperative that we maintain a positive outlook. Additionally, it is important that we continue to show our strong support for this bill, just as we have at the Public Hearing and at the Senate’s override of the veto last week. We’d love to pack the Assembly’s 3 galleries on Tuesday. So, if you can attend on Tuesday February 3, 2004, it would be beneficial, and appreciated. Finally, Tuesday could be the last step in a long journey that began over six years ago, by showing our support for this bill we will be successful.
