Witness Baby Eagle same as I.M.I. BabyEagle?

I'm looking for spare mags for a .40 IMI Jericho (Baby Eagle). I got one a while back at CDNN made by Meg-gar (sp?) and i see in this recent catalogue some Winess Baby Eagle 12 rd. mags for $19. Are these the same, and are they decent quality? Any info much appreciated......M.

the witness is imported by eaa, which is fairly different from the IMI baby eagle. Although, they are both cz75 clones, so they may take the same mags.

Yes, the cz, eaa, and baby eagle all take the same mags. When it says Witness Baby Eagle mags, I am assuming it means Eaa Witness and Baby Eagle mags.

The Jericho is not a direct clone of the Cz per say. Its a witness Thats been modified and re-worked to fit the Israeli army's needs; IMI consulted with Tanfoglio when they designed their pistol, not Cz.

I have both a recent CZ75b and an IMI Jericho 941 (BE) and the mags, while close, are not interchangeable.

The Tanfoglio and IMI grips frames are identical in the critical dimensions. CZ magazines are quite different. Generally, using Tanfoglio magazines in a CZ requires fitting (enlarging) the magazine catch.

Tanfoglio magazines have notches on both side of the mag tube. OEM CZ mags do not.

I appreciate the input guys, but how did we get from IMI/EAA to CZ ? I know the Jericho is a Tangfoglio-built CZ clone ( more or less) . I was wondering about the EEA Baby Eagle mags in a IMI Baby Eagle (jericho). Actual CZ mags aren't in the equation.
PS. after digging around the CDNN website, it appears they also sell .40 baby eagle mags from Magnum Research, the importer,I believe. They look and are priced identically, but I'm pretty sure these will fit the bill. Many thanks.....M.

Because even large retailers mislabel them for each other. I have often purchased "Tanfoglio" magazines and received CZ magazines, as well as vice versa.

If you don't want to understand the entire picture, be my guest and get burned a few times.

Mil-Dot:

There is NO such thing as an "EAA Baby Eagle". EAA never made or imported anything under that name.

Its labeled that way because EAA imports the Witness line of pistols, and the Italian firm of Tanfoglio makes BOTH the witness and the Baby Eagle.

YES, Witness magazines should work in your Jericho 941.
