Wolf .40 S&W ammo

I usually get 20-30 loadings before I see the brass crack after resizing, of course given a 2-10% brass lossage to the weeds, statistically most brass gets lost before hitting that many cycles :).

My point is the soft steel cases are much less ductile than is brass so it can show an oversize problem well before brass would. You can blissfully assume it must be the "crap Wolf ammo" or make the simple check I suggested to see if their might be an issue with your gun or not. Given the pressures involved with .40S&W I'd look into any irregularities noted with any ammo.

thanks hexi...those pics look identical to what happened to me....only the cracks weren't quite that long
 
My Kel-Tec P40 eats the Wolf .40S&W up. Cheap & ugly ammo for cheap & ugly guns!
