Just got back from the range where I fired 200 rounds of .40 S&W from my M&P. They were all primed with Wolf sp primers and loaded in the past week. Out of 200 rounds, 15 failed to fire. I guess you get what you pay for.

If these are their new nickle-plated SPP, a significant number of people have reported problems seating them flush or below. I had no such problem (although, my pockets were prepped) but I did have an unacceptable ratio of failed ignition with guns running tuned triggers. I checked them again in the same gun with a near-stock trigger setup and they ran 100%. If your gun is stock, I'd suspect they just are'nt quite "bottomed out"...if you have a lightened trigger setup, that definitely comes into play.

Dave,
Yes, I did put each round back in the chamber and retried it. 4 or 5 went off. D, my trigger is stock and I did spot check seating depth before I loaded them. All the cases that I checked were within spec.

Man I just went through this, 200 rounds of 9mm and 11 FTF Wolf SPP. Upon closer examination the primers were not seated fully in the case in all 11 of them. I have heard this effects all primers, not just Wolfs.
