No big surprise here. I wonder if this is something the FEC should look into.
Not gun related unless Kerry wins, but is political.
Women's march turns into campaign rally
WASHINGTON, April 25 (UPI) -- Speakers at Sunday's March for Women's Lives, an abortion rights rally in Washington, repeatedly told the crowd to vote in November
Organizers and public figures charged President Bush with promoting and adopting policies that erode reproductive rights and disregard women's health.
From the podium, numerous celebrities, such as actresses Julianne Moore and Whoopi Goldberg, took up the theme.
As "Vote Kerry" banners swayed below the podium in front of her, Hillary Clinton, one of the speakers at the rally, called on the marchers to elect John Kerry. She said the last major reproductive rights march on the capitol in 1992 helped elect a pro-choice president, her husband Bill Clinton.
Anti-abortion activists charged march organizers with having an anti-Bush agenda.
"They just do it because they have a president they are trying to defeat," said Georgette Forney, co-founder of the Silent No More campaign, a support organization for women who have had an abortion.
