The I-frame is identical to the J-frame so far as stocks are concerned, except the latter is about 1/8" longer. J-frame stocks that wrap around the front, and bottom are not hard to adapt. If they also cover the backstrap you have it made.
If the stocks now on the revolver are original they are made of black hard-rubber, and not plastic. If they are complete and unchipped or cracked you can likely sell them to a collector for enough money to make a considerable controbution toward the ones you plan to buy. Present value is about $50.00.
