The wife gave me the go-ahead and said "Get it the way you want it". Heh. Black cherry leather, white stitching with crosscut stamping and star concho and black cherry belt. May add a mag pouch.

I haven't ordered a holster in a long time and most of mine are IWB. But the wife wants to go for walks at night when it gets hot here in Vegas but is concerned about crime, so I brought up open carrying and how I've always wanted a Tucker holster, specifically the HF-1. She said, "Well don't you need a belt too?" and I said of course! lol I haven't worn a belt in a long time, so the only delay is figuring out what size belt to order. Hopefully I'll know that tomorrow. 6 month wait on the holster.

I let my CCW lapse and am now too fat for IWB so we'll see how this works. Can't wait! :)

Ordered!
HF-1 Holster for a 5" 1911, black cherry, crosscut stamping, sweat shield, gold star concho (they can't get the silver star).
Mag pouch/flashlight holder, black cherry, crosscut stamping.
Gun belt, black cherry, crosscut stamping.
Now to wait 6 months.

I just ordered my second HF1 for a 1911 4.25" 9mm Commander. Black Cherry with the optional cowhide liner. No frills. Same as my first HF1 with the exception of color. My first one medium brown. Yours is going to be a lot fancier and nicer looking. I have some nice holsters in both IWB and OWB but my HF1 OWB is by far the most comfortable carry of all. Tucker's quality right up there with my Sparks. When I ordered my first HF1 about 6 years ago lead time was around 6 weeks. Now it's six months. Rob must be doing something right. Hf1's are described as duty holsters and when you see how well they are constructed they certainly live up to that title.

Nice! I have been holding off ordering a Tucker for my Smith 64-3, which will be my El Cheapo barbeque gun for when I go back to Texas. They really have some nice stuff, but current medical bills mean I wait for a short bit. Pics when you get them, please?

The nice thing about a long wait is by the time you finally get it, it’s a surprise!

The wait is hard, but they say they are hiring people to help. As long as they're not making my leather! I agree about Sparks and Tucker, I have a VM2 I've used for a long time but this will be not only a BBQ rig but I will wear it often.

I bought two Tucker holsters about 20 years ago, soon after I got my CCL. (God bless the gunshine state of Florida) They are still in use, still totally serviceable. One for a compact 1911, one for a Smith Snubby, both IWB.

Mine came yesterday. Just the Plain Jane version with the optional cowhide liner.
