Would You Buy A Blemished Scope?

Whether I buy new, used, or new blemished, almost all of my scopes quickly become blemished. I don’t sweat the small stuff, as long as the big stuff like optical and functional integrity are still sound and the warranty on optics and function is still valid, I don’t mind a scratch or scuff.

I have bought quite a few of them, most give good results. Most of the blem scopes are just without packaging or missing instructions. I have bought a few that were sample/test scopes they didn't even have a name on them so I couldn't tell who made them, a few were missing the adjustment cover caps. You have to look them over real good before buying.

Yes on a Leupold from a reputable vendor or face-to-face where I can do my own assessment. I have purchased a couple of "blems" from Midway, and lots of used Leupolds on the gun boards.

Wait, you mean pre-blemished?

A Leupold? Sure I would.

Save me the trouble of working about my own handling.

Todd.

Depends what I planned to use it for. Definitely not on my bear rifle but for most anything else as long as it had a warranty sure.

probably if it was discounted 20% or more. less than 20% and it would not be worth it to always worry about if the scope has a problem or not, or might be prone to develop one. just an opinion
