Would you buy a pistol to fit a holster you owned?

No, it is like buying a specific car just because you have a set of tires that were given to you.
 
Lol! Probably not. I was going to sell one of my handguns, but then I would have a holster with no gun...lol It can be a vicious cycle.
 
I have an HK USP compact holster (bought cause it fit a P07 I no longer own) that I woulf love to fill with said USP.

Problem is they are so danged pricy and the wife thinks I own too many 9mms
 
A nice holster won't guarantee a useable holster. You can spend $20,000 on a nice saddle that won't do a lick to keep you planted for 8 seconds.

I guess what I'm asking is if "very nice" means already tested by the OP and found to be superior in function or something else. I have very nice rifles that I can't shoot trap with and great screwdrivers that never turn a nail.
