Please vote in poll if you're a 452 nut - or even if you're not. :)

The standard 452 Luxe has a long 24" barrel. Regardless of how many 452s you own right now, including whether or not you presently own a Luxe, would you, or would you not, given your actual present situation, run out and buy a Luxe in the near future if they suddenly offered it with a 16" barrel - in other words, same Euro stock and fancy front and rear sights, but with the short short bbl like the American 16?

I do have an Ultra Lux with the 28 in bbl, it’s like a de facto silencer with subsonic rounds.

The Lux and Ultra Lux (Super Exclusive in some parts of the world) have perhaps the best iron sights on the market. I currently have three 452s and some Brnos but a Lux in 22 Mag is on the list, regardless of bbl length. :)

I too love the Luxe for its silencing properties - a flobert or CB cap is *almost* as quiet from the 24" barrel as a super colibri is from a 16" barrel - almost. Hmm, I would love the try the ultra luxe for this reason - are they still available?

Regardless, I want a 16" luxe as an iron-sighted handy hunter! Yes, gotta love those nice irons.

On your 452 in .22 mag - I'd want 18 or 19" anyway for .22 mag, to get the most out of the cartridge. But I like 16" .22s.

Probably not, since I own a 452 Scout, for teaching the kids. If it had been available before I bought the scout, I would have considered a 16" Luxe instead.

As it is, I will eventually be in the market for a 24" Luxe.

Nope. I've got a 16" American (I had mine cut down before they started offering one) with a scope on it already, and a Lux. I prefer the longer sight plane when using iron sights.

The standard 452 Luxe has a long 24" barrel.

The Training Rifle has a 25" barrel. The Lux and Ultra Lux have the 29" barrels.

And the Training Rifle.
