Would you change a 45 acp to a 357 mag?

Leave as is. 45 ACP revolvers are awesome. I own a bunch of .357 magnum revolvers, I don't own any .45 ACP revolvers and would get one of if I could for the price of a used .357.

No, I'd just buy a revolver in 357 Magnum and buy Wilson Combat moonclips.

More Guns = Less Crime. Think about it.

If you were to choose to convert, I would try to do so in such manner that it's really easy to go back and forth... Say a 10 minute conversion to/from so that you can have both at the same time.

It depends on what you are using the gun for, but if it were me I would leave it as a .45 ACP. Ammo is cheaper (about the same as .38 special in cost) and stopping power is signifigantly greater than .357 magnum.

There would be 0 benefits in going to the .357 magnum, you already have the more effective chambering and cost to feed the beast will be the same or lower. Plus reloading with moon clips is an awesome way to keep your revolver running. JMHO.

YMMV.
