Would YOU Shoot It?

OK, it's deer season and you're in your very favorite deer stand where you've seen lots of deer over the last 10 seasons. Dawn is just beginning to the point where you can see well enough to identify any critters walking in your area. You look to your right and see this huge, dark, furry critter walking directly toward you. You holler out your mother-in-laws name, "Martha, is that you?", but you get no answer, 'cause Bigfoots have no vocal cords and can only grunt.
Would you shoot it? Or, would you be like Marlin Perkins on "Mutual of Omaha's Wild Kingdom" and send Jim in to tackle the beast while you sit in the Land Rover?

Don’t shoot him! He’s a distant cousin. We lost him back in the ‘70s when he wandered off into the woods during a camping trip. My family has been looking for him since. If your picture is halfway recent, he appears to have aged well.
