Would you trade a Kel-Tec Sub 2000 & 5 33 round mags for a Yugo AK?

I just made the arrangements. I'm going to meet him tomorrow at 3 to make the trade. He is also going to let me borrow his AR for a while to try out. I think it came down to the fact, that if I really imagine a scenario where I'd have to use one of these, I'd prefer the AK. Also, as some of you have pointed out, the Kel-tec continues to be produced, whereas once the Yugo Ak's dry up, they are gone. I like the Underfolder with the wood. I shot this rifle when he first bought it in 2006. I don't think he's shot it much since then.

Well, I went ahead and made the trade today. I think I’m happy with the decision. I’ll miss the Kel-tec somewhat, but if I had to choose between these two carbines, I’d choose the Yugo. My friend bought this rifle back in early 2006. We took it to the range and test-fired it with 3 or 4 magazines. It functioned 100%. He told me today, that it’s been sitting in the safe, ever since that time. So it is in very nice shape, and came with the accessories pictured. I’m not sure what country of origin the mag pouch, or bayonet are from, so if any of you know I’d appreciate the info. Also, the sling, I’m not sure if it came with the rifle or not, but again, does it look like a military surplus sling? The two magazines are pretty rough, but I’ll pick up a few at a future gun show. It also came with an AK Disassembly guide (for all models), that I assume came from the importer.


He also loaned me his like new High Standard AR-15. He told me I could keep it as long as I want, while deciding if I'd like to purchase it at some point. If I decide to buy it, he is asking $500. I have no experience with the AR platform, or the HS so I'm not sure how I will like this one. Looks nice, though.
