Well Denis Prisbrey and Hamilton Bowen have done it again. Yesterday I picked up the 2007 American Handgunner Tactical Annual and inside was a beautiful picture of a 4" Redhawk in 44mag.....or so I thought. After reading the story it seems that the gun is actually a Super Redhawk Alaskan that has the snout cut back to accept a 4" Redhawk barrel. Wow, what a gorgeous gun and great story by Denis as to how and why it was done. I tried to get a picture to post here but it is not up on the website yet. Even if you dont buy the magazine and are even slightly interested in a 4" Redhawk....pick one up, turn to page 84 and drool.....!!!

Great idea Denis and super work Hamilton!!

Ruger must have read the article too

Ruger's web-site ruger.com has a news release announcing the introduction of the 4" Redhawk as a standard production item. Guess they finally listened to the vocal throngs.
