6/10 but I guess on the Lone Wolf question. I missed all the Qs about cartridges. I have not done enough reloading to know that stuff.

Wow, 8/10. Admittedly I did guess on about half of them.

I just watched Lone Wolf McQuade on digital cable 2 days ago :) I don't know much about those rifle cartridges since I don't even own a bolt gun...

8/10 for me. A mix of "I know that" and some lucky guessing.

I knew 1, 6, 7, 8, 9 and 10. Logic led me to the right answer for 5. Guessed wrong for 2 and 3. Guessed right for 4.

9/10 with two lucky guesses... I missed the .300 Rem Ultra Mag question and guessed on the Lone Wolf McQuade and .338 Talbot questions.

8/10 Missed the 338 Talbot and Ackley Improved questions; why couldn't I get just two lucky answers. OK, got lucky with Lone Wolf, but it was an educated guess. Really :)

10 for 10 on both quizzes. Guessed on Lone Wolf McQuade, but then I never saw the movie nor am I particularly intrested in seeing it. Shame that Winchester did not use the 250 Savage case. Makes more sense to me.

8 out of 10 on the first quiz. I haven't seen Lone Wolf McQuade in a LLOOONNNGGGG time. For those who haven't seen it, this is by far, the very best Chuck Norris movie ever.

I've never heard of the .338 Talbot, and couldn't imagine someone necking the .50 BMG down to it......and he's from my hometown!!

On the second quiz, I was 9 out of 10. Kept vacillating between 1933 & 1935 on when the Swift came out; should have vacillated one more time.

I had to think hard though, as to what cartridge Elmer developed loads for that was brought out by Remington. He developed loads in the .44 SPECIAL, that were morphed into the .44 Magnum, but I went with the key part of the question as to Remington offering it.

First quiz: 10/10 - Guessed on the Lone Wolf McQuade question. I've read Cartridges of the World several times.

Second quiz: 9/10 - Answered the question about Keith's state incorrectly. I own a Pre-64 Model 70 220 Swift.

Dang ... 6 out of 10; I'm so embarrassed. :p

Was off on the Ackley, never met the gentleman in Q #4, and I'd never heard of the Talbot or Lone Wolf McQuade. At least I got Question #1 right. :neener: If I hadn't, I'd probably get kicked out of my family. That ain't gonna happen. ;)

Second Quiz: 9 out of 10.

5/10 Considering..

Well I got a score of 5/10. Two (2) answers I knew (44 Mag) and (Sweets).. Two (2) answers I took a educated guess at (Carbon Fiber Wrapping) because it sounded logical and because I've seen the 'Lone Wolf McQuade' movie on T.V. a couple of times I figured it was the Winchester 70. Out of the last six (6) questions I got a lucky answer on one (1). Which one I have NO idea.

<p>I agree with some of you though. THAT wasn't a gun nut quiz. Most of the questions had to do with wildcat calibers.. of which I know nothing.

8 of 10, but all were guesses. Sometimes you get lucky. 10 questions is too small a sample size to mean anything anyway.
