I hated Glocks for years. Mostly I hated them because they felt horrible in my hands. The plastic felt cheap, and the stupid finger grooves didn't line up with my fingers, causing the bottom of the trigger guard to bite into the second finger. A couple thing happened about two years ago. I found one for sale I liked. A Larry Vickers edition Glock 17. It has a rough texture finish that's different than a normal Glock. Also, I saw a video on doing an undercut to the frame. I got the gun, and nervously took a Dremel tool to my expensive new piece. Bingo, I was happy with a Clock. Fast forward to about a month ago, and my boy wants to get rid of his Glock 45 to get something in.40 cal like his department, so I bought it off him. It also has a much better feel that the normal Glock plastic. (unless that's how they feel now with the new gen) On the plus side, no finger grooves. I still did an undercut, but now I'm happy with TWO Glocks... and they take the same mags.
