I've had an interesting evening. I visited a friend, who took me to see their friend's collection. Wow.

An extensive collection of early Winchester's. 1860's, 1866's, 1873's, through 1894's. In many cases, every catalog caliber was represented. And then, the Henry's. The Ballard Henry, and the Scoville Henry. Wow.

I didn't just get to lookie-lou. I got to actually handle whatever. Can't really put it into words, just: "Wow".

Very nice indeed. My wife's uncle showed me the other day his kentucky rifle from the civil war thats been passed through the family. Thats about the highlight of my week so far.
