Welcome, Shung! Our youngest daughter lives in Zurich. We've had the pleasure of visiting your beautiful country many times.

I was lucky enough to have participated in a shooting there match 2 years ago. I admire the Swiss and welcome you to The High Road! Johnny

"Dont worry, my father is Italian (my mother is Swiss) and therefore, I was always an Italian supporter when it came to sport..."

That's funny. I met a girl from the Italian part of Switzerland one time who told me (if I remember correctly, my Italian is disappearing from lack of practice), that:

"Sono italiana per futbol, ma sono svizzera per denaro."

"Sono italiana per il calcio, ma sono svizzera per il denaro"

" As for soccer, I am Italian, but for the money, definately I am Swiss "

You are true. One part of Switzerland, the "ticino" is Italian speaking, and having a border with Italy, but it is truely Switzerland.

As for me, i have nothing from Ticino. I am real italian, from 2 of my grandparents.

I was born in Polcenigo. Many americans know this place, because its only 3 miles away from Aviano..

and in Aviano you find AVIANO AFB... one of the biggest USAFE airbase in continental europe.

Home of the 510th (Buzzards) and 555th (Triple Nickel) Fighter Squadrons, 31st Fighter Wing !

btw, I like your signature.. But from what Machiavelli ever wrote, the best is :

Svizzeri sono armatissimi e liberissimi

which means : Swiss people have a lot weapons, and are very free ! and obiously that was always true.
