I finally got the chance to take both my Ruger Wrangler , and my Heritage Rough Rider to the range together. Just for the heck of it, I took my NAA Wasp. All with .22lr cylinders. Firing at a paper target at only 30 ft. With CCI Mini Mags.
24 shots each for the Wrangler and RR but only 5 with the Wasp because it is such a pain to load.
(Struggling with five live rimfire rounds is not in my comfort zone.)
First up the Wrangler. Three keyholes and three that did not even hit the paper. The rest all over the place. No bullseye and only two in the first ring.
Next up the Rough Rider. No keyholes, none missed the paper. No bullseyes but five in the first ring and none more than 6 inches from the bullseye.
Last up the Wasp. Two in first ring two in second ring and one dead center bullseye! What the heck?
I would have bet a bottle of Maker's Mark that the tiny Wasp would have come in last not first!
Btw the Wrangler has a 4in bbl the RR 6.5 inch .
But that much difference?
