Anyone use WSF for reloading 40sw if so how is it working, Lgs has a 4lb of it
I have not used WSF before?
Will be loading target loads and I'm almost out of power pistol, powder still hit and miss in my neck of the woods

I haven't used it in 40 but I have in 9mm and 45. Seems to work well for me. Meters well thru my Lee pro disk. Fairly clean. About the same burn rate as PP IMO. Less flash.
I bought 4lbs a while back. Was concerned because I had never used it before. Happy with it.
Not a lot of help for 40SW but maybe a little.

It's similar to AA #5.

No reason it wouldn't work at least reasonably well in .40. I didn't try it in .40 though.

Tested Unique, AA#5, Power Pistol, and WSF with various 165 grain bullets in 40 S&W. Winchester Super Field was my favorite powder. Gives good accuracy and velocity increased smoothly with increasing powder charges. For some reason it does seem to have milder recoil than the other powders I tested. Unique would be my next choice of my tested powders.

I have been using only WSF in 40sw, 9mm and 45acp for the last several years. It's very clean powder.
