G23 and 1911 don't like WSF...

I’ve got a pound of WSF that I’ve had for at least a year, but I’ve not got around to trying it. I’ve been using Ramshot Competition for most of my pistol loads. I like it pretty well so far. It doesn’t give the best velocities, but seems to be a good enough powder for my plinkers.

Personally I haven't been too impressed with WSF. I haven't used it a lot but in every case it's been unremarkable. WST on the other hand... I'd buy 50 lbs of that if I could.

I've been loading about all my 9mm stuff with WSF lately. It's on the upper end of the data I have but not max. Accuracy is decent, burns clean-ish. But I'm not competing or hunting with them, so good enough is good enough.

I stumbled upon Ramshot Silhouette just before I got out of GSSF matches and it was quickly becoming my favorite powder for the .40 S&W mild loads.

I really like WSF in 9mm, 4.5gr with a RMR 124 MPR gives me about 1030fps nice soft shooting load, my go to for matches.
I like it because it works well across it's load range, not as much vel on top as say BE86.

I’ve loaded RMR 180 grain bullets with WSF and had a great time shooting them in my Gen 3 G22. Zero issues. I believe I’d use 5.8-5.9 grains, though I’d need to check my notes.

I’ve also loaded many RMR 124 grain MPR HP 9mm loads using WSF as well. With that load I settled on 5.1 grains I believe. Those I’d mostly shoot with a Gen 5 G19 and 43x. Again no issues.

But I’m just plinking in the desert. No bullseye or hunting with my semi autos.
