T series are pre 1970's Hi powers. They have a ring hammer versus a spurred hammer. Many consider them to be the best examples of fit and finish of all of the hi-powers.

There is one on canadiangunutz forum for $750Cdn unfired. If I had the $750 I would buy it in a heart beat. MY T series shoots great but has a few pit marks on it from previous owner leaving it in a holster for a long period of time. I can't say I notice much difference in the fit and finish between it and my Mke 111. Sights on the T series were very basic and are very difficult to pick up quickly. Great for combat I guess but aren't going to win any awards from the over 50 crowd I don't think.

Take Care

Correction T series guns were manufactured from 64 to '69: T136568 to circa T261000.
are some pictures of a T Series guns.

Grips have been changed on the last one.

You may check at...

Collectors Firearms in Texas or Simpsons Ltd in Illinois. Both have exellent webpages and I would be very surprised if Collectors did not have what you are looking for.

FWIW and respectfully submitted.

Except for the hammer, that looks like the BHP Mk1 that I had before.

The current Mk3 is better in terms of fit, finish, safeties and sights.

Unfortunately the same magazine safety across the models leaves much to be desired.

Unless I misread his post he's asking about a factory magazine for a T series, not for the pistol. If I had to guess he wants one to go with his T series gun.

I was answering fvf's question about what a T series was an what it looked like.

The orginal poster is look for a T series mag on several boards with no luck so far as far as I can tell.

Answering original question..

My post was also directed at the original question. After having visited Collectors and dealing with the staff I believe they are an excellent place to start on a hard to locate item. There may also be other shops that also have large inventories or specialize in Hi Powers that I am not aware of.

FWIW and respectfully submitted.

I have been told by collectors more knowledgable than myself that FN never made OEM magazines for the BHP and always outsourced them. I have seen many mags at gunshows over the past years and have never seen a "Browning Marked" magazine. If so I would have them for my two BHP's.

I have a 1969 Hi Power. It has one original mag with an FN in the oval on it. I have 3 other Megars that are just as good if not better.:)

I have indeed found a very nice 1968 BHP with an unmarked magazine. It is in the black leather Browning pouch.I do not know what the original mag looked like exactly, but the one I have is a different blue, not polished, and I would like to have one that is original,I assumed that it would be marked somehow, even if not made by Browning or FN.Can someone tell me for sure?If not, then I need one that looks new,13 rounds, and is unmarked. Thanks for any help,I am an old S&W
wheelgun guy,but could not let this one get past me.The fit and finish on the gun is very nice, and the leather pouch is perfect.
