Anyone know where i can find instructions on installing the wild west alaska trigger upgrade for my new marlin 1894? Mostly because I want to figure out if it really needs fitting, or if the lack of instructions on the product is just a legal issue. I also replaced the two-piece ejector and it was really a simple drop in requiring no fitting at all. I'm hoping the same is true for the trigger upgrade.

Thanks a bunch

HERE you go.

They were easy enough to follow that my (then) GF did it for me while I was at work :what: - and I had a wonderful surprise waiting for me when I got home... Other than field stripping her P7, she had no previous experience disassembling/reassembling any firearms. BTW - she did it perfectly and it's a nice upgrade to the stock trigger.

You probably will need the parts diagram HERE.

There likely is a legal component to WWG's failure to post the instructions. In this society, can you blame them?

HTH,

Jax

Jax, thank you.. the parts diagram really helps to visualize it even before I take it apart. I can see the two parts the WWA trigger/sear is intended to replace. The Williams FP peep w/ firesight just arrived in the mail today. I see some fun gun-work in my future. I'm not a gunsmith by any means, so wish me luck. :p

WWG states that installation should be done by a gunsmith. I would too, if I sold parts...

I bought my Trigger kit because I hated the Marlin "Trigger Flop". The crisp 2lb pull was an excellent bonus. :D

P.S. I've never heard of anyone having to do any fitting with the WWG Trigger. ;)
