XD in 10MM

I've been waiting for SA to come out with an XD 10 mm and it doesn't look like it's going to happen. I'm looking at getting my XD 40 reemed to 10mm. Does anyone see any problem with this. I will need a stronger spring. I shouldn't have any problem with that. More comment the better.

Is the frame strength. I'm pretty sure that their frames are strong, but are they stromg enough?

The frame and the magazines aren't long enough to accept the 10mm cartridge..........

Bob is right, the 40 cal XD is way too short for 10mm. You might be able to hack a 45 XD into a 10mm, but just thinking about it is probably more money than a new XD costs.

You can safely handload 40 to pretty darn stout ballistics, look at Hodgdon Longshot data for instance.
