xd sights

i was at the gun show this weekend and ran into a guy who calls himself the glock doctor. he had a booth selling glocks and accessories. he sold night sights for $75 and put them on for free. he sold some to a guy with a xd but had great difficulty removing the sights and finally gave up. he said it was his first time attempting to remove xd sights and couldn't believe his $600 tool couldn't do it . any experience on the difficulty of removing these sights.

Yes, this has given many a gunsmith problems, not easy. You can see comments on www.xdtalk.com I sent my slide and new sights to a gunsmith in Alabama because I knew he has done 100's of XD sight installs. Definitely worth finding a gunsmith with XD sight installation experience.
