Yankee Hill Machine parts questions

Hello everyone,

I am thinking about buying a Yankee Hill Machine AR 15 lower receiver and having a friend build an AR for me. My question is what does anyone know about the Yankee AR 15 lower and Yankee Hill parts in general, are they durable and quality products, does anyone have problems with their parts? Any information on this Yankee AR 15 lower and Yankee parts would be great!! Thanks Everyone!

I'm quite pleased with my YHM upper. Like all lowers, the YHM is really just made by one of a few manufacturers that supply lowers for all these companies (Delton, Spikes, etc). I'm not aware of any AR brand that makes their lowers in-house. That said, their lowers are going to be just as good as any others.

I have the following YHM products:
Phantom Flash Hider
SS Phantom 7.62 suppressor + 5 mounts
20" diamond fluted barrel
2 rear sights

All have performed as advertised, and to satisfaction.

I kinda view then like Ruger......not the prettiest (except the fluted barrel), a lil bit clunky, but very robust.

Also I had to use their customer service to special order a custom mount for the suppressor, they delivered several weeks before quote.
I will do business with them again

I've built three ARs using 16" fluted, 1/7 YHM barrels. Love 'em! Also have used YHM stripped upper for those builds. Am using YHM free float tube and flash hiders, as well. Excellent products!
