I'm lucky enough to have a wonderful girlfriend that understands my gun addiction. She has ordered me a YHM Specter length Diamond Series float tube along with YHM front flip up sights, YHM sling stuff, and YHM Low Pro Specter gas block. Needless to say, I bought myself another $140 worth of stuff to dress it up. (I'm starting to feel like I'm playing with Legos....)

Sadly enough, I don't get the rails until Christmas. And for $247 shipped, I think she done pretty good to get all that she did. So, expect pics of my AR around New Years in this thread.

So, anyone have YHM rails, sights, etc and wish to show and/or tell your experiences?

You are.

That's the same exact fore end I've decided to get once Christmas is over. Be sure to post up those pics...because once Christmas is over, I'll get all stingy and chicken out of the purchase!

I plan on taking a series of pictures of the installation and put on here also. My rifle (and my friend's) is a S&W MP-15 OR. For some reason, removing the gas block is a PITA on these specific rifles.

I have a low-profile YHM flip-up rear sight and a YHM stripped lower. Both are great quality; unfortunately, the rear sight isn't used at the moment because the ACOG it was under got moved back to a more comfortable position and didn't leave an open slot for the sight. It'll be going back on the upper for the current build I'm doing, though. :)

I really like my YHM flip up front sight/gas block. It costs about half what the competitors charge, it's made in the USA, and it's solid. I've flipped it up and down countless times and it's always held zero. Can't ask for much more than that.
