Lets also say for the sake of argument that the author didn't mis-identify the "libertarian-ness" of the GOA or Ted Nugent.

What then is the response to his criticism of the tendency of gun owners to selectively support certain civil rights?

Once you subtract the Freudian phallo nonsense, the misapplied libertarian purity tests, and the overall ad-hominem nature of the article, there's really not a whole lot left to discuss.

If that's a point you want to make, and I'm not automatically against it, mind you, I'd start over with a essay or article that actually, you know, bothers to argue that point.

I think there really is a bit more to this author's article than the three elements you've listed...and I wouldn't have bothered to post it if I felt otherwise. But...not to worry...I have already been working on another thread to supplant this one. :D
