Steam comes out of your ears when somebody calls an ar15 an m16.
all my military friends say they're the same thing, or rather M16 is the military designation for the ar 15. I've heard both so I don't really know anymore.

anyway my nut joke.

If your wife says "it's here or the guns" and you choose the guns.... <--- sadly true

oh and if you have a 5.7x28mm round you picked up at the range, put onto your keychain.

Dogsoldier, you can handle the guns & take them home without getting 'the gift that keeps giving.'

This one sounds familar!

You know you are a gun nut if you buy stainless steel handguns on the off chance that you would use them for deep woods carry when the arthritis in your knees starts hurting after walking less than a half mile. :(

True Story: "How I Know I'm a Gun Nut, and Have Infected Those I Love"

Wife and I were watching Netflix this weekend, some easily forgettable B-movie action flick about quickly developing contagion in Washington state. Bad guy is shooting what is obviously a Glock at the good guy, and does a mag dump, firing 10 rounds before the gun goes "click". Like clockwork, the wife and I turn to look at each other and say in perfect unison-- "California magazine!"

You think of spending on other entertainment items in terms of how much ammo/another gun you could buy with that amount of money;

my most current example;
I need a new pair of headphones for my iPhone, as the stock Apple 'buds suck, I was looking at a set of Klipsch S4's ($80), but for that same amount of money, I could get $80 in ammo (8 boxes of WinLite shotgun shells....) or another decent used H&R single shot shotgun, or more reloading components....

I have been considering picking up a used/refurbished X-BOX and a copy of Left for Dead 2, but for that same amount of money ($150ish), I could get a new H&R Youth 28 Gauge shotgun, or another nice used .22 rifle, or *lots* of ammo, or a shotshell reloading press and a buncha' accesories/components, or......
and guns hold their value much better than home electronics....
