Unfortunately for the past few months I've been stuck in a wheel chair. I'm finally to the point where I can walk 20 feet on a good day, but that's it. A friend knows I like to hunt hogs and he found a spot where he could drive me in and set me up to hunt over bait. It's not a perfect way to hunt, but in my case it is certainly better then not hunting at all. And what's in it for him? Absolutely nothing, except doing something for someone.
If you have a friend in this kind of situation you might want to see if you can figure out a way to get him back into the woods? He likely wont care if he gets anything, but he'll be happy as can be that he gets to try.

Before I got my hip replaced I was reduced to elk hunting out of a lawn chair.
Kinda funny, my most successful elk hunt in years!

I have a friend dying of prostate cancer, I try to take him scuba diving as often as possible.

If you know someone old, young, or with problems getting around give them a hand!

Thanks guys - that cheers me up! I've had one knee replaced in January, and will be out of action until I get both hips replaced. It's nice hearing someone has "made it back" to hunting activity...
