I'm running 5gr of Unique under 124gr FMJ Zero's and getting a little under 1100 fps with service size autos. Good practice load with med recoil that is similar to my 124gr carry load.

This works well in my CZ85C, it's a soft shooting accurate load.

4.9gr of Unique

Winchester small pistol primer

124gr Ranier plated round nose.

Anybody have any favorites with a 124gr FMJ, Unique and WSPs? Getting ready to load some up for the wife's Sig.

I'm out of town and can't get to my data, but if I remember correctly, 124g IMI FMJ, 4.7g of Unique. That gets me just above power factor for IDPA. I use these loads in a 9mm AR and end up with about 1250-1300fps from that. Can't remember the OAL, but I did use the recommended from my Hornady manual. I'll be back home this weekend and can put up my exact load with chrony info from my Hi-Power if you want.

My current favorite in a 1985 CZ-75 and my T-series BHP is 6.0 grains of Uniques and a 115 FMJ.

For use in my Glock 17 and 19 my favorite 9mm handloads are:

Hot Load (for hunting):

147 grain Hornady XTP JHP over 5.7 grains of Alliant PowerPistol at 1.100" O.A.L. for 1095 fps/391 fpe from the Glock 17 and 1065 fps/370 fpe from the Glock 19.

I used this load from a Glock 17 three years ago to take a nice 165 pound white-tail (6-point) buck 27 yards (laser range finder) from my tree stand. It penetrated the deer completely and the deer ran ~35 yards before expiring.

Target Load (for target grade accuracy):

147 grain Hornady XTP JHP over 4.0 grains of Alliant Bullseye at 1.100" O.A.L. for 945 fps/291 fpe from the Glock 17 and 920 fps/276 fpe from the Glock 19.

Very clean, gentle load, excellent accuracy.

G/S

5.0 grains of Green Dot for a hot load, 4.0 grains of Red Dot or Alliant "Promo" for a light load. (I shoot a lot more of the Promo)
