Quite simply what tickles your fancy?

    Catagories are very much acceptable.

I'll start off as an example...

U.S. handgun design is the 1911
    Foreign handgun design is CZ-52
U.S. rifle design is undecided (Barrett 50 BMG if I could afford one, maybe?)
Foreign rifle design is tied between the AK, the FAL and the SKS
Shotguns... U.S. would be Remington water enviornment style and Mossberg 3 1/2" mag tricked out turkey gun
...foreign shotty would be a pistol grip Hatsan (Escort) 3"
    U.S. revolver is S&W 317-2
    Foreign revolver is Taurus 605

Feel free to jump in with your favorite even if you do not own one. Only guns available to serfs count, so full auto is game too.

    thanks

Yea, the AC 130 gunship has a lot of boom for the buck.
But I do admit, my first thought was what CajunBass posted.

    Darn Cajun,

You beat me to it. I was going to say my favorite of the 5 I served on was the USS Stonewall Jackson - SSBN 634 (Served on 2 Ohio's but they don't have the character of the old boats).

Apart from a few friends, I don't much care for the entire generation.

Hard to think of a well-known Boomer I like. Glenn Reynolds. That's my favorite Boomer.:)

Cajun read a lot of minds. My favorite though is the MK19. Nothing says ''I care about what I am shooting at more than anything in the whole wide world'' like 20- 40mm gernades in less than ten seconds.

I wondered how many folks would use the word boomer in it's many manifestations. More than I guessed.
