Your favorite to reload

380ACP, 32S&W Long, 32H&R Magnum and my latest favorite is 32 Super Carry:)

I really like 6.5 Grendel. As mentioned before it's kind of satisfying to load that stubby cartridge and know that there is plenty of power in it for anything I'll ever need, (unless I draw that elk tag I really want).
It's funny to put a Grendel cartridge next to my stepson's favorite to load; 300 RUM. Comparing those two makes me laugh.

I'm a new convert to 6.8 SPC. I am nearly giddy after a loading session. I started loading 300 BLK some years ago, added 223 Rem, 224 Valkyrie, 350 Legend (hate it), and in the last part of last year started 6mm ARC and 6.8 SPC. While I really enjoy making a successful rifle cartridge, the one that brings the biggest smiles is 6.8 SPC.
For all of the bottleneck cases I am using the Frankford Arsenal Universal Seating die...an amazing addition to my bench. All of these cartridges use the same seating stem, so all I need to change out is the alignment sleeve...9 of them ship with the die, as well as 3 VLD bullet stems.

I’m really enjoying loading 41 mag. The 2400 powder really fills up the case and it’s easier to handle compared to a small 9mm case. I’m also loading on my first press, the LCT, and although slower than a progressive it feels more personal (if that makes sense). I’m not just pulling the handle, adding a bullet and watching 600 eject in an hour. I have to actually handle each finished round and examine the crimp. Maybe one day I will shell out another $50 for the plate and set it up on the lock n load but only after I have a good established load.

I cast and reload for everything from 380 to 45 Colt. I prefer to load revolver cases over auto cases. I guess it's because I would rather shoot revolvers. Up until about a year and a half ago I loaded 357 and 44mag by the thousands. Then I bought a single action 45 Colt (Pietta 1873 clone), my first single action. My 357's and 44 mags are S&W double actions I've had for over 20 years. I waited a long time before buying a single action. I was hesitant on the loading and unloading. But the more I shoot it the more I like it but I can't explain why that is. I can't load 45 Colt by the thousands yet. I have the powder, primers and have the lead alloy to cast all the bullets I'll ever need. My limiting factor is cases I currently have just over 400 but I'm finding more every week. I'll get there.

Although I load a butt load of 9 mm and .223/5.56 my favorite would still be 44 mag. Maybe because it the only cartridge I currently cast my own boolits for.
Casting your own bullets brings a whole new dimension to the hobby of shooting. Very gratifying to see the results on paper and know you did it yourself.

My favorite cartridges to reload are handgun. It really does not matter on the cartridge as they all are reloaded with the same steps for the most part (38/45 Clerke is an exception here).

Rifle cartridges have more work and need more care so they are not as pleasurable to reload. But, I still prefer my reloads to the cheap surplus garbage on the market. I like making good rounds that have good accuracy.

I do like reloading so it is a hobby unto itself. If I want to do case forming, I reload 6.5x54 Mauser and 38/45 Clerke. I can form cases in 22x6.8, 221 Remington Fireball, and 300 Blackout. I reload for semi-auto rifles such as the AR-15, M1 Garand and M1A.

I load .410 through 12 gauge shots shell.

If I want to reload volume, 9x19, 38 Special Wadcutters, or 230 grain RN 45 ACP fill that bill.

And the list goes on.

I have equipment reload something north of 30-35 different cartridges and firearms to shoot them in. It all depends on how the spirits move me.

Easy. 10mm. I enjoy unloading them equally! :D

The worst? 9mm. Those tiny cases are challenging to handle with my meaty clubs, and the tapered cases require more force to resize than even rifle cases.

I prefer the rimmed revolver cartridges, from .32 H&R to .454 Casull. :)

Of these, the “Specials” are my favorites, .38, .41 and .44.

With rifle rounds, the .45/70, 6.5x55 and .30-30 are probably the ones I enjoy the most.

Stay safe.

My 1911 comander in .45(avatar) has seen some serious time on a smith's bench, and "identify's" itself as a BE rig? It's pretty fun to load for.

Old,8" 357 Python hunter is fun.

R700, 260 cast rig is gratifying more than fun. But in general, shooting bughole groups with cast rifles probably rates the highest satisfaction levels here.

Guess it would be the following in no particular order, 10mm, 357, 41mag, 44mag, 45 Colt, 454C, 7 Mag and 7mm STW.

I load for everything we shoot but those give me the sincere satisfaction of availability, economy, and accuracy. Just a quick stroll down any stretch of ammo at the LGS usually puts a smile on my face looking at the prices of any factory offerings in those calibers IF they are even available.

As most know some calibers are best used as a handloaders option anyway, and it's nice to be able to cobble your own full tilt boogie ammo that meets or exceeds the comparable factory equivalent performance.

Asking what cartridge I like reloading is like asking which of my children I like best. I can't really put a finger on any one pistol or rifle cartridge because I enjoy them all. I shoot cast lead in every caliber I shoot, so there are always new loads and bullets to try. I'm starting down the 10 MM rabbit hole as soon as I get my new molds and firearm.

For me it used to be my .45-100 with 2.6" case with cast bullets over BP. Something about loading a cartridge that utilizes the full capacity of a single stage press.

Nowadays, it's my .350RM.

It's just such a flexible, compact, fireplug of a cartridge with pistol bullets at over 3000 FPS and 250s at 2500. In a sub 7lb carbine it will leave a mark on both ends, especially from the bench, but it's a joy to carry. I now form brass from 7mmRM, so that added a new facet to my reloading.

Anything straight wall with a rim and says magnum or casull on the head stamp. Honorable mentions are 6BR and 223.

I like to reload. I reload every center-fire caliber I shoot.

The best part, is the experimentation. Finding that perfect load, but still looking for another. Using .30 Carbine bullets in .30-30 or .30-06. .357MAG with 92gr bullets. Funnest project, .444 Marlin brass loaded to .410 shotgun SxS for grandson to Cowboy Action Shoot.
