Romanian TTC, lots and lots of 7.62x25 ammo that defeat soft armor. Plus some options with my various barrels (9x19, .38 super, 9x23 win). Have been considering a 9x21 if I can find another 9mm barrel.

Just 1? This is a hard question! I would have to say my Glock 23, mainly because it's easier to field strip (no tools compared to my 1911s), light, and eats anything I feed it. I also have a Streamlight TLR-1s mounted and neither of my 1911s have a tactical rail.

But if this were a "you can only keep one because the governement decided you can only have one) or something like that I would have to choose between my Kimber Stainless Ultra Raptor II and my Kimber Eclipse Target II.

My Colt 01918 Black Oxide 1911. It is just beautiful, and shoots really well also. Tough choice between this, and my BHP.

Tough choice... from a practical perspective, I would choose my Walther PPS, simply because I carry it every day. But as far as my favorite gun is concerned, it would have to be my Browning Hi-Power.

1) CZ 75 compact. Takes full size high caps. I have a bunch.
2) Bulgarian Makarov. Runs like a top, built like a tank. I have extra mags.
3) T-Series BHP, just classy & high caps.

This can all change depending on my mood.

The only reason I can think of that would cause me to make that decision is the option we don't talk about around here and if that is the scenario we are referring to then I'm glad so many of you are keeping your 1911s. That will leave a bunch more ammo for me and my XDm in .40 caliber. I have the 3.8 Compact and it is built like a tank, has a tough finish, is super easy to field strip, offers the option of 11 round or 16 round mag, is reasonably concealable with the 11 round mag and makes a better/heavier club than a Glock if I run out of ammo.

The one semi-auto that will always be with me is my Colt Combat Commander as customized by Colt's Custom Gun Shop. Totally reliable with any ammo, and as accurate as a Gold Cup.

Tough one.... HK USP (Compact) in .40( accurate, concealable, reliable) Followed closely by Walther P99 or Glock 21...

1911. No question about it. Glocks and other guns may come and go but the 1911's will go to my children and hopefully on to theirs.
