When I started shooting skeet, I had a lot of trouble at station No. 8. After I started shooting regularly, I solved that problem. Now, I seem to miss pretty frequently from station No. 2.

How about you? What's your worst/most feared station?

I'm bad enough that I would "fear" them all if little clay frisbees scared me! :D

That said, number 2 has been eating my lunch of late, too. And I've been botching 1 high an inexcusable number of times. Bad starts to pretty much every round these days. I feel like I've got 8 high under control, but 8 low is a slap-the-trigger-and-hope shot for sure.

My worst are the middle and the second-to-last stations.

I dont know HOW many times I've cleared the middle station and though right, it's all easy from here, Im on for 25, only to mess up at that last but one :)

Low 6 seems to be my demise. 90% of my 24s were from low 6, but unfortunately I always get low six when I miss Low 1 and still get a 24.

I learned how to shoot No. 8 from an old timer at my range. He said to start the gun barrel at the lower outside corner of the window, move it four feet out and four feet up, and call for the bird. I break the high house every time; the low house is less regular, since I'm a righty.

Station 1 double kicks my butt some days. Just can't seem to hit that high house bird fast enough to leave me time on the low house target. Of course it doesn't help that your facing the sun all day long at our club with station 1.

I don't shoot enough skeet to really work on it. I always find myself over on the 5 stand field....lol.

High 2. I wear glasses, cannot wear contacts, and just don't see the darn thing out of my perpherial vision.

If get past High 2 I have a good round in my future.
