Yugo SKS what to expect in the bore?

I just bought a Yugo SKS. Exterior is MINT and correct. Looked in the bore with a light (should have brought it to the store first) when I got home. The rifling is pretty good and there are no large nicks to note but the bore is dark with faint pitting throughout.

Is this common to Yugos? What is the definition of good for a Yugo bore? It came with every orig issue accessory I can think of (all unused). Even a log book but not the same Ser #. How did I do at $300 and will this be a good shooter by the sound of it?

The bore may just be crusty with 50 year old cosmoline. Several good scrubbings may make it look a lot better.

I'm not sure about pricing these days, I bought mine back int he day when the minty ones were $99. They are pretty decent shooters for an sks, not target rifles but accurate enough and fun to shoot.
