Yugo SKS with grenade launcher

Was in the local gun store the other day and we got to looking at a Yugo SKS with a grenade launcher attached to it. I"m sure most of us know what I'm talking about. Anyway we get to talking about how the grenade launcher aren't worth much due to the fact that the grenades are not to be found. The guy behind the counter tells me that you can get inert grades and using blanks can shoot the grenades quite some ways but less than 100 yards. Has anyone else heard this and if so where can I get the inert grenades and are they legal or are tey class 3. I know I can get the blanks no problem but would like to have some of these inert grenades if they are in fact legal

they make golf ball and soft ball launchers, not really useful for anything but I can imagine that they would be fun to mess around with.

I've been makin my own for a few years, me and friends get together out in the desert and have competitions knocking over jack rabbits or round tail squirles (3" tall rodents that infest the desert) with tennis balls out to around 100 yards, sometimes we'll set out barrels etc... and play "Yugo golf" some ya gotta "morter" em in as the barrels are stood straight up others are leaned at an angle or layed on their side...... some are over hills so your firing blind, at the "tee" there will be a hand drawn diagram showing where over the hill the target is, ya gotta aim based on that diagram or they'll be behind brush or down in a ravine or wash etc...

Clarence, go to the link collateral posted........ simply duplicate the exact same thing, isn't very complicated some guys even just cut a hole in a tennis ball and stick it over the launcher but not as accurate nor do ya get the range

Its possible, I've never tried it myself.
