Here in Cali, the Yugos don't have all the grenade stuff on them, but they do have the bayonet.
They also go for $250, unfortunately. I am getting mine for $180, and it is in superb condition. A little cheaper than my 870, and a higher capacity as well.
The Yugo will be competing with a custom series 70 1911, a SIG P232, and an 28" barrel 870 for HD duty. Right now the .45 and .380 have top spot because one handed weapons don't preclude the use of a flashlight. The .380 gets the nod for now, because the .45 is an heirloom, and the .380 is stock, so if, god forbid something should happen and my weapon gets confiscated, I won't be missing an heirloom, (unless they take everything.) Eventually the 870 will be the go to weapon, but it just isn't practical right now, (Too big, no light, two handed, 4 rounds max.)
I see the bayonet as an advantage, but the Simonov needs a weapon light to be totally useful for HD. I don't see the 10 rounds as a disadvantage, (Specially not in Cali,) as the .45 is 10+1, the .380 is 7+1 and for now the 12ga is 4+1, so the Simonov is up there at the top.
