Never heard of them, but if anyone else chimes in with good experiences I'll be ordering from them for sure. $20 for 500 9mm is by far the best price I've seen in a while.

I have purchased from him for about 4 years now but I started through Gunbroker. He is at times slow with everything but the bullets are OK for what I use them for.:D They are hard cast and need higher pressures to seal well but I load the 44 SWC at full 44Mag velocities and they are accurate with no leading. The prices are close to what he sold them for when I started dealing with him. The best way to deal with him is to email your wants and send a PMO after he replies, this may take a few days. Always good stuff and great prices But not the selection that MBC has for sure. The web site is relatively new and looks like he is trying to improve his image some.:D

I buy the 9MM, 38 SWC, 44 SWC, and 45 RN regularly and all are good.

I've bought from James Z. for a few years before I started casting my own. His stuff is good, it is what he says it is, and he's never failed to come through for me when I needed bullets. I would buy them again.

When he started out he was using a very soft red lube that melted and made a mess. Then he switched to the hard blue lube and it holds up better in transit but the red lube lubricated better. He changed his 44 mold a couple years back and I had to adjust my seating for the new crimp groove- no big deal. His 45 acp bullets are now a ball profile instead of a 2-radius ogive like they used to be.

Good to see he's trying something new (internet website sales) and I hope it works out. Maybe I'll throw him an order for old times' sake.

I'm a supporter of another popular brand, matter of fact I just got 2k of them in the mail yesterday, however at the considerable savings these Z cast bullets appear to offer I'd be mighty tempted to switch...Trouble is I tried to make an order and the checkout doesn't work.

Yeah i am interested in them but have yet to have someone answer a phone call or an email. Seems these days its hard to get any customer service.

He is sometimes really slow to respond. Email is best, I would not be in a hurry and be pleased with the good bullets when they arrive after a bit.:D Email the list of what you want and he will email your total and where to send payment. Typically takes about 2 weeks for your order to get to you but IMHO worth it.

Got an email from James Zeigler yesterday that he had shut down until early in September. Then he would be good to go. I really like his 230 GR/45 LRN and I am willing to wait as I do not need them that bad yet.

Z Cast Bullets LIVES !! Return of Z Cast !

To all of you discussing Z-Cast bullets, I would like to say that sadly our founder James Zeigler has passed away. He had certain health problems for a while and would probably account for some of his tardiness from time to time. He had a whole HERD of kids and I think it was getting too much for him, so James and I had discussed my handling the business and now with cooperation from his family that is what has happened. It has taken longer than expected, but Z-Cast bullets is back in operation as I believe James would have wanted. Soon Z-Cast bullets will be sold on a new website www.jacobeagle.com but for now if you wish to place an order just write to [email protected] or call 928-707-1354 between 9am and 1PM Arizona (MST) Time. Most of the original bullets are available again save a few. This is temporary and soon will have most all of the original calibers back. We have plans to add 45-70 and 44-40 soon as well. Our stock is building but is limited for the time being. In the near future we will be able to ship next day orders. I hope you will spread the word. We would like to locate as many of the original Z-Cast customers as possible. Thank you for your patience and we hope to be hearing from you all very soon.
