Took my rifle out and zero'd it at 200yds. I tried to set the turrets on my Leupy scope to zero. The windage knob was no problem. The elevation knob on the other hand was rather stubborn.

I tried to set the knob back to the center location on the scale. Is that where I should set the elevation zero or should I set it at the lowest elevation setting? After thinking about it and figuring I'll only be bringing the elevation up for longer shots the zero at the lowest setting seems right. Am I thinking right here or am I all screwed up?

It seemed that when I was trying to set the zero at the center location the knob set screw was hitting the edge of the elevation shaft of the scope and wouldn't stay in the position I was trying to set it at. It would stray a few mils away from the line I was trying to set it at. Am I doing something wrong here or am I just unlucky that the shaft is in that position at my zero location? It may not matter if I need to set the zero at the lowest setting. Anyway any advice from y'all experts out there would be appreciated. Thanks.
