Yeah, it does. Takes a bit of the seriousness out of competition.

Zoot shooting can be very economical. Cas type guns, double action revolversor a basic 1911, and a Win 92 or 73 or other type levergun are all that's needed. There is no shotgun stages, (although they may be provided as guest guns). Clothing is very easy as a trip to the second hand store or using work clothes that have that 1930s look. For most, the equipment and clothing buy in to Zoot shooting is very low.
